There is a scripture at the heart of In The Vine Fragrance Co.

John 15:4 says

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

I have found that there are two major competing voices concerning God. One says, there's no need to connect to God. You are sufficient on your own. The other says, do for God, perform for God, perform for the church, be a good person, do the right thing... you may have heard it before.

The scripture above implies that there is a third path. And it is what I believe Jesus called the "narrow path." A life of faith that is powered by, motivated through, and centered in the awareness of the presence of Jesus Christ and the Creator of all life.

With every purchase from In the Vine, there are prayer cards and routines to help you fall into a rhythm of prayer and spiritual awareness. It is not a small tag onto the brand, but it is core to the mission itself. 

About the owner

Hi, my name is Naomi Woods. I am a rising indie perfumer based in Philadelphia, PA. I have been studying the art of perfumery and fragrance since 2021, and I have completely fallen in love with the craft.

For most of my life, fragrance was an area of a lot of tension. I lived years with chronic illness and sensitivities, and walking through the fragrance section in Macy's was a true torture. I loved fragrance, but the chemicals and ingredients always produced negative reactions for me.

When I began crafting perfumes, I was determined to make fragrances that I could happily wear all day, every day. I started off with pure natural ingredients, only to realize I was missing a lot of the luxury and aura that many synthetics provide. Upon further research I discovered that not every natural ingredient is healthy, and not every synthetic is harmful, in fact many are extremely safe.

The fragrances crafted by In the Vine Fragrance Co. feature natural ingredients that are enhanced by safe synthetics, following the guidelines of the IFRA, to create perfumes that shine. 

I am happy to say that I am thoroughly enjoying all of the fragrances I have created, with no negative reactions. My hope is that these products bless you, body and soul. This business has been motivated by my love for fragrance, for creativity, and a desire to help people connect to Jesus and the Creator of all things.
